DW is a solid source of decent journalism. The app though is a dumpster fire. It crashes all the time, you can't access the privacy settings, there are rendering errors, it's just plain very bad. UPDATE: dropping rating to 1 Star. The crashes haven't been fixed in years. The app is nearly unusable.

I do like the selection and presentation of the news content. However, most of the time I can read only one article and when I browse back to find the next article of interest the app does not load content, just showing a twirling circle forever.

App is good when it works but it's unstable and typically fails to load. I must restart the app 5 times to get it to load properly. This is not affected by my VPN, mobile signal, or wifi and the issue is likely security settings by the app designers.
